When I was a kid, I grooved to the beat of music television. I’d record my favorite music videos on VHS tapes so I could relive the magic anytime. The first music video I distinctly remember was Styx’s „Mr. Roboto.“ But at the tender age of six, my visual world exploded when I witnessed Peter Gabriel’s „Sledgehammer“ - I was completely blown away and craved that level of entertainment.

Around the age of 14, I had a mind-blowing experience during MTV’s „Nirvana Weekend.“ In a short span, I discovered artists who continue to inspire me today, including Beck and The Breeders. And then came Viva2, a channel that sparked a revolutionary wave in my world, playing the perfect tunes even during daylight.

This journey led me to pursue a degree in Media Design because I aspired to craft motion designs as cool as the music videos that made my world come alive.

The golden MTV era came during my teenage years. Often, I would come home from school, taking a little pause before the homework I would watch a video and many times would wait to see what comes next and next, getting into the loop. This project took me back to that time, reminding me of my admiration for art associated with the music. These creations of artists, often with amateur character, who embraced play, experiment and technology, at the end it's digital art. That's what nowadays I cherish myself in my personal projects.

Musicans change you, the ones that write that song which make you cry, or embrace, or give you the feeling you need, and you never forget that. Great work changes people, and it changes me.
